Hot but not hot place to visit - Samsung Car Museum

 Korea is well known as developing country specially in car manufacturing area. Maybe, some of you have heard about Hyundai Motors Company. However, because of the speed of developing, following few cultures are not planted on the ground so far, car museum or Motor sports is kind of good example for that.

 

 There are few car museums here in Korea but they are not that famous. I googled Samsung Car Museum located nearby Seoul Korea and visit it. According to unidentified rumors, it was private place for Lee Kun-Hee who is an owner of Samsung empire, all cars collected in the museum were purchased by Samsung Fire Insurance, one of subsidiary company of Samsung.

 

 That is reason why the museum was not popular, they did not drive PR on the public.

 

 Anyway, There are lots of historical cars, It must be worth to visit place if you have plan to visit Korea. please enjoy the pictures below from entrance to exit of the museum.

 It is main entrance. Out side of building kind of status are exhibited.

Inside of building, it is consist of two floors. One for commercial cars and the other for racing cars.

Miniatures are so detail, looks like real!

From fisrt section, two convertibles are twinkling. It's Chevy and BMW two-door coupe. Corvette C2 isn't it?

An old fashion car, must be famous....

And I strongly believe that the car from Back to the future is replica not real one.

They are Mercedes-Benz 300SL, icon of hot roadster half of century ago.

Gull-wing doors. It's fantastic, I love'n it.

In the exhibition hall, there are lots of vehicles.

Three wheels car from Germany called Isseta (1955). 

BMW 3.0 CLS (1972) it is model for ETCC (Europe Touring Car Championship)

Porsche 356A. I never seen such an old car from Porsche....

 

I am not sure what it is. Does anybody let me know the model of Alfa Romeo please?

Matter of course there is Korean car section. Mostly CKD model when they are developed..

According to script on the board, the jeep called Sibal below did not have even drawing unbelievably.

For kid, kind of experience section was prepared. they are showing mechanism of each parts of cars.

Kids loves miniature. But even me, I attracted in it.

Man size exhibitions

It is interesting, small trains. Wow...

On the second floor, there is racing car section.

I am not sure there are real cars, collections by the owner but looks like same. legendary, historical racing cars...

 It was nice time, special my son enjoyed it. I do not know almost all of the, for me, it gives me lots of homeworks for finding out behind stories why they are so special :)
